Organized as a New York Corporation in 1984.
Document Security Systems Inc., (DSS) is an amalgam of the corporate stock of Lester Levin, Inc. (d/b/a Patrick Printing and d/b/a Legal Store) obtained from Patrick White. Patrick serves as our Chief Executive Officer and Chairman.
In 2002 DSS acquired all of the corporate stock of Thomas M. Wicker Enterprises, Inc., a consulting and document security research and development firm, and the company entered into an employment agreement with Mr. Thomas Wicker, the former owner, to be our Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Wicker also serves on the Company's Board of Directors.
On November 1, 2002, DSS acquired all of the corporate stock of Document Security Consultants, Inc., a privately held wholesale and retail manufacturer of Wicker 2000 security paper products. As part of this acquisition, we entered into an agreement to employ the acquired company's former President, David Wicker, as our Vice President of Operations & Technology. We also acquired, at that time, a majority interest in the corporate stock of Imperial Encryptions, Inc.
In 2006, DSS acquired all of the corporate stock of Plastic Printing Professionals, Inc.(P3), a plastic and ID card manufacturer.
The current entity, Document Security Systems, Inc.'s assets include corporate stock, patents ,security printer licenses and the P3 manufacturing facility.
